Luis Alberto Reportedly Has Accepted Lazio's New Contract Proposal

The Spanish midfielder, Luis Alberto, is reportedly committed to spending additional time with the club Lazio.

Since his recruitment from Liverpool in 2016, Luis Alberto has become an irreplaceable player in Lazio's midfield.

The 31-year-old midfielder has participated in 209 games for Lazio in the Serie A championship, having contributed 42 goals and 57 assists.

The midfielder's contract at the Stadio Olimpico has two more years left, which will be completed in the summer of 2025 to be precise.

Recognizing that Alberto is still significant to Maurizio Sarri's team, the Biancocelesti management also granted the midfielder a contract extension.

The report from Sportitalia indicated that the offer of a contract extension from the Capital Eagle team was immediately approved by the player.

Under the new agreement, Alberto is now committed to the club until June of 2027, and his salary increased from 3.5 million euros to 4 million euros per season.

The Aquile wishes to finish his new deal as soon as possible so that the club can fully focus on their transfer market activities.
