Vecino Agrees To Move To Lazio, Announcement Expected This Week

Matias Vecino has decided where to go after his contract with Inter Milan expires on June 30. The Uruguayan midfielder has reportedly agreed to join Lazio, with his transfer announcement due this weekend.

In the latest SportItalia report, Matias Vecino is said to have agreed to a three-season contract at Lazio with a salary of 2.5 million euros per season.

The report also puts an end to speculation about where Vecino will end up after his Inter contract is not renewed. Vecino has been sidelined from Inter's squad for the past few seasons, with club management ultimately deciding not to renew the 30-year-old midfielder's contract.

In fact, in the last two Serie A seasons, Vecino has only played 25 times for Inter Milan, contributing 2 goals and 1 assist.

Coach Maurizio Sarri recommended Vecino join the Biancoceleste. A move to Lazio is expected to restore the midfielder's best form on the pitch.
