Lazio And Their Forward Line Have Struggled To Score Goals Recently

Lazio had a Saturday to forget as they suffered a crushing defeat against Juventus upon returning from the international break. Although a spark was ignited after their match against Napoli, it has since fizzled out. Numerous issues plague the team and the statistics reflect this. As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the attack is no longer effective. Out of 60 shots in the area and 8 on target, only a couple were successful. Immobile, the focal point of the team's offense, is struggling to score and his teammates are unable to assist him. Despite this challenging period for the striker, he remains determined to push through.

Out of the four games played thus far, four goals have been scored by the team. The team captain only scored one goal, while the remaining three goals were scored by Luis Alberto with two goals and Kamada with one goal. Felipe Anderson and Zaccagni have yet to contribute any goals, which is in contrast to the previous year when they were responsible for numerous goals. It will be difficult to start working again, but there is no time to mope: the Champions League begins on Tuesday.  The Biancoceleste must pass another level test, as they will face Simeone's Atletico Madrid.  There will be no shortage of hurdles for Sarri to overcome.
