Update On Luiz Felipe Renewal: Barcelona And Betis Are Following

We are at the end of the calendar year and with the beginning of the new year, we have to face the winter transfer market session. Lazio is preparing to strengthen Maurizio Sarri's squad and beyond. Another important issue is that of renewals, Luiz Felipe's contract has priority as it will expire in 2022.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the player would be free to sign with another club in case the renewal does not arrive. No extension has yet been signed. The biancoceleste club offers just under 2 million, Luiz Felipe would like at least 2.5 million. The Brazilian is followed by Barcelona and Betis. Time is running out and Sarri does not want to do without it.

The 24-year-old has been with Lazio for over five years now, making over 125 appearances for Lazio until now.  Since being brought to Serie A from Brazilian club Ituano in 2016, Luiz Felipe has become a regular in the Biancoceleste defense as a central defender. This season, his numbers are 22 games, starting in all of them, and adding a total of 1,944 minutes.
