Luka Romero: "Lazio Is A Great Club And When I Was Playing In Mallorca I Thought I Would Never Be Able To Join. I Am Very Happy With The Choice"

Young Argentine player, Luka Romero has confirmed he is keen to join Lazio. He is widely regarded as one of the most talented young stars in Europe this season.

Argentine Luka Romero, 17, joined Biancoceleste on a free transfer from RCD Mallorca last summer. Lazio only paid 200,000 euros last year, an attractive figure considering he is one of the most talented players in Europe. The player expressed his joy during his time in Rome and the help he received upon his arrival.

"Lazio is a great club and when I was playing in Mallorca I thought I would never be able to join. I am very happy with the choice and my teammates have been very helpful since I came here," he said via beIN Sports.

"I took advice from more experienced players, they gave me a lot of advice, I try to take it as the most important thing and I'm very happy at Lazio."

"I don't know the future, I want to continue on this path and I'm happy with everything."

Romero's contract with the Biancoceleste expires in 2023. Since joining RCD from Mallorca last year, he has made 9 appearances for the first team and a total of 93 minutes. He has shown some technical ability and deserves more playing time in the future.

He continues to impress Maurizio Sarri and his teammates in training and is likely to get more first-team minutes next season.
