[Friendly] Lazio - Qatar = 0 - 0

Lazio's friendly match with Qatar ahead of Serie A ended 0-0.

Italian league club Lazio from Serie A was unable to break the deadlock in their pre-season friendly against the Qatar national team last night (30 July 2022).

Lazio lost 4-1 to Genoa in their last pre-season game, and Maurizio Sarri is expecting them to do better in today's rather unique match against the Qatar national team.

In the first half, Lazio created a lot of chances worth scoring. Even got a penalty kick. However, last season's top scorer in Serie A, Immobile, failed to execute the penalty well. His shot hit the post, leaving everything scoreless.

In the second half, the game slowed down after Maurizio Sarri made several substitutions. The game ended in a 0-0 draw.

Sarri and his team must now look back on their last two games and find out what's wrong ahead of the upcoming Serie A season. On August 14, Lazio will play their first match of the Italian League Serie A 2022-2023 against Bologna. Before that match, they will play against Real Valladolid in a last friendly game.
