[Official] Cremonese Loan Escalante From Lazio

The Argentine midfielder says goodbye again: on loan and with transfer rights.

This is the statement of Biancoceleste that announced the loan of the Argentine midfielder.

"S.S. Lazio announces that it has temporarily transferred, until 30/06/23, the rights to the sports performances of the football player Gonzalo Escalante in favor of US Cremonese. The latter club has the right of option for the definitive acquisition".

Cremonese's destination has been discussed for a few days now and everything is official. Escalante joined Lazio in the summer of 2020 but has never been a regular.

A six-month loan at Alaves from January before returning to Formello. Escalante has been training alone to find a new club on his own since the summer and has now found it. He will return to Serie A after 25 appearances (and 1 assist) in the Biancoceleste shirt.
