[Official] Kiyine Returns To Belgium To Join OH Leuven Permanently

Sofian Kiyine returns to play in Belgium. The former Standard youth product joins Oud-Heverlee Leuven, a team that plays in the top flight.

Kiyine left Standard at the age of 18 for an adventure in Chievo Verona. He was signed by Lazio in 2019, but it didn't quite work out. Kiyine did not play for Lazio's side and was loaned to Salernitana and Venezia. He was relegated to Serie B at the latter club last season.

OH Leuven now offers him the chance to try again in Belgium. He signed a four-year contract with the club.

According to an official press release posted on the biancoceleste website, the player was sold permanently:

"S.S. Lazio announces that it has definitively ceded the right to sports services of the player Sofian Kiyine in favor of the Belgian club OH Leuven."
