[Serie A] Lazio - Milan = 4 - 0

AC Milan lost 4-0 to Lazio in the 19th round of the Serie A this season. Maurizio Sarri's squad appeared more dominant and creative in breaking down the opponent's defense.

At the Olimpico, Lazio won 2-0 in the first half through Sergej Milinkovic-Savic's goal in the 4th minute and Mattia Zaccagni's strike in the 38th minute. Luis Alberto's penalty (67') and Felipe Anderson (75') then added to the capital team's success.

Three more points elevated Lazio to third in the standings with a total of 37 points, they had more goal difference over Inter Milan and AS Roma who has the same points.

Conversely, this loss has diminished Milan's chances of winning the championship, as they are now 12 points behind the leaders Napoli. The team in second place, themselves, is still in the lead, but have had a bad run after failing to win in their last five matches in all competitions (D2 L3).
