Lazio Want More Support From Their Fans To Reach Top 4 In Serie A

March 07, 2023

Extraordinary support is needed from their loyal fans for Lazio to reach the top four in the Serie A standings. Maurizio Sarri's team is currently ranked third after defeating Napoli in the match on Friday night.

Lazio managed to send their supporters into a frenzy with a shock 1-0 win over leaders Napoli and the club will be hoping for the overwhelming support in the race for the top four as they enter a crucial stage.

Fewer than 1,000 fans attended the game at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, they witnessed the Aquile's victory over the league leaders, which resulted in them having a strong position in the race for a Champions League spot in Serie A.

With the fans' positive emotions rising this season, some displeasure has been expressed towards their presence at the Olimpico Stadium.  As reported by La Repubblica, the Lazio squad and coach Maurizio Sarri believe it acceptable to boo the squad during their lackluster performance, however, they also want to receive more support during this difficult time.

Boos, such as those heard at the end of the first half against Atalanta in the previous defeat or the 0-0 draw against Sampdoria, plagued the team, which hoped to experience a greater sense of unity between players and fans.

As a result, The Aquile was once asked to reduce their ticket prices at the Stadio Olimpico as much as possible to encourage more fans to attend and foster good relations between supporters and the club.
