Pellegrini Is Likely To Play For The First Time Against AZ Alkmaar

Luca Pellegrini has been recruited by Lazio for just over six weeks, but he has yet to appear in a game as a starter for the Italian capital.  However, the situation may differ when the Italian team faces AZ Alkmaar in the second leg of the Europa Conference League, the coach is expected to give him a chance to participate.

Six weeks have passed and Luca Pellegrini is still yet to make his Lazio debut. However, things may finally change during the second leg of the European Conference League, which will take place in Holland.

The full-back, who is 24 years old, joined the club on a short-term loan with an option to purchase from Juventus on the last day of the transfer window and has become one of the most anticipated signings by Italian capital fans.

To date, the defender has not been utilized by Sarri and has sat on the bench in every game. However, the most recent information, as reported by Il Messaggero, reveals that Sarri is finally ready to grant Pellegrini his first appearance during the second leg of the last 16 second leg of the Europa Conference League against AZ.

It's likely the 24-year-old will start on the bench and will play in the second half, however, the most significant thing is that the Italian left-back will be allowed to participate in the match.

The defender must devote much effort in the upcoming months to convince The Aquile to make his transfer permanent from Juventus in the next summer window.
