Lazio has already qualified for the Champions League, but their sporting director, Igli Tare, has indicated that he will be leaving the club during the summer.

Igli Tare, the sporting director for Lazio, has indicated that he will leave the Italian capital this summer. The information was announced after Juventus deducted 10 points due to a scandal that automatically sent Biancoceleste to second place.

Since the 2020/21 season, Lazio has not qualified for the Champions League when they reached the round of 16, having previously only reached the group stage since the 2007-08 season. However, it's unlikely that Tare will be able to assist Sarri in acquiring additional players in the summer, and he has already confirmed his departure.

"I have a profound attachment and love for this club, I spent 18 years here and it is a bond that will never be severed. My contract is due to expire in just over a month, we should consult the president about the best option, but I will also consider my future's best interests."

"I've been coming to this club for a long time.  At the end of the journey, it's important to evaluate and make the best option possible, especially for the club.  I'm clear on my own beliefs, and I'll speak with the President about them, but there's not much to clarify.  What matters is what is best for the club, and I will contribute."
