Sarri Made Direct Contact With Zielinski In Order To Persuade Him To Join Lazio

It has been reported that Maurizio Sarri is actively attempting to persuade Piotr Zielinski, a midfielder from Napoli, to join Lazio during this upcoming summer season. The Italian coach has been in regular contact with Zielinski to bring about the realization of his ambitions for transfers.

According to reports, Maurizio Sarri has expressed his desire to have Piotr Zielinski on the Lazio team and maintains constant communication with the Napoli midfielder. Zielinski, who is 29 years old, played a significant part in Il Partenopei's pursuit of a historic Scudetto this season, appearing in all but one of their Serie A matches, ultimately leading to their third league championship victory.

It is highly probable that the Polish midfielder, Zielinski, may depart from Il Partenopei, given the sluggish pace of negotiations for the extension of his current contract with Napoli. This contract is set to expire by June of 2024, and there have been no significant developments in the ongoing talks.

According to reports reported by Corriere dello Sport, Sarri has expressed his desire to acquire Zielinski's services for the third time in his career. The two of them had collaborated previously at Empoli and Napoli. Zielinski, the midfielder, is among the top priorities for the Biancoceleste to acquire this summer.

Sarri has spoken to the 29-year-old on multiple occasions in an attempt to persuade him to move to the Italian capital, and with every day that passes without a new contract with Il Partenopei is a positive indication for The Aquile.

Zielinski appeared in 48 games for Luciano Spalletti's team in 2022/23, scoring seven goals and assisting on eleven occasions.
