Al-Hilal Are In Talk With Kezman After Lazio Accepted Their Bid For Milinkovic-Savic

Lazio has repeatedly agreed to an offer from Al-Hilal to acquire the highly sought-after midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who has expressed his desire to depart from Rome this upcoming summer. The Serbian midfielder decided to decline the contract extension proposed by coach Maurizio Sarri's team.

According to reports, Lazio's midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has recently been presented with a formal proposal to join the Saudi Arabian team Al-Hilal during the upcoming summer transfer window. As the 28-year-old Serbian international approaches the last year of his contract with the Italian club, he has made it clear that he intends to depart from the Olimpico stadium and is uninterested in engaging in negotiations for a new contract.

Previously, it was reported that Juventus and Inter had engaged in discussions with The Aquile regarding the potential transfer of Milinkovic-Savic. However, both clubs were hesitant to meet the designated transfer fee of 40 million euros for the midfielder. President Claudio Lotito remained steadfast in his stance, refusing to compromise and insisting that interested clubs fulfill the fee to secure the player's services. Milinkovic-Savic, who is 28 years old, remains a subject of interest this summer.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Al-Hilal has made a formal proposal of 40 million euros to Biancoceleste to take over the services of Milinkovic-Savic. The proposal was accepted by the club.

The Saudi Arabian club is in talks with the player's agent, Mateja Kezman, regarding personal terms. They have offered the player a seasonly salary of 20 million euros, recent signs indicate that he is open to a transfer.

If the transfer materializes it will be a disappointing end for Milinkovic-Savic's career in European football, it could also affect his position in the Serbian national team.  The 28-year-old is at his career's peak and has impressed this season with 9 goals and providing 8 assists in the 36 games of Serie A. He had a significant role in the club's success.
