[Official] Chelsea Have Sold Loftus-Cheek To Milan On A Permanent Basis

The future of Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been announced by Chelsea and AC Milan simultaneously. Milan has successfully secured Loftus-Cheek's services for four years, ensuring his presence in the Rossoneri squad until 2027. The exact monetary details of the transfer from Milan to Chelsea have not been disclosed, but according to Sky Sport Italia, the overall transfer fee stands at approximately €21.5 Million. This fee includes additional bonuses and add-ons, with a fixed cost of approximately €16 Million.

Loftus-Cheek, a product of the esteemed Chelsea Academy, entered the professional football scene in 2014. Throughout his career, Loftus-Cheek has had the opportunity to gain valuable experience by being loaned out to various clubs, including Crystal Palace and Fulham. Adding to his impressive resume, Loftus-Cheek has made a total of 155 appearances for Chelsea, where he has showcased his talent and contributed 13 goals. Notably, he has been a part of two Premier League championship-winning teams, along with triumphs in the Club World Cup, European Super Cup, and League Cup.

Before Lazio may hold the belief that they can successfully persuade the English midfielder to join their squad, as Loftus-Cheek holds a special place in Sarri's heart from their time together in London.

Loftus-Cheek will be joined by Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori, both former Blues teammates.  Ruben Loftus-Cheek is Milan's second summer signing, following goalkeeper Marco Sportiello.
