[Official] Luka Romero Bid Farewell To Lazio After His Contract Expired In June

Following the expiration of his contract, Luka Romero bid farewell to Lazio and made his departure public via his social media platform. Rumors suggest that the Argentine player is on the verge of joining Milan, a rival team in the Serie A.

Luka Romero, a promising young player from Argentina, has bid farewell to the Olimpico and officially departed from the club. Initially, there were reports that the 18-year-old prodigy had reached an agreement on the terms of a new contract proposed by The Aquile. However, negotiations fell through when his agent, Fali Ramadani, demanded a commission of 5 million euros.

Expressing his gratitude through his personal Instagram account, he conveyed his appreciation to Lazio for the invaluable experience gained during his two-year tenure with the club and bid farewell to the devoted fans.

"I want to thank the club, their fans, who have always shown me their trust and love, and everyone who has helped me grow as a professional, both on and off the pitch," he wrote.

"Thank you very much, Lazio; it is an honor to wear this shirt."

Romero joined The Aquile from RCD Mallorca in July 2021 for a cost of 200,000 Euros. He rapidly entered Maurizio Sarri's first team, trained with the squad regularly, and began making appearances. During his two years with the capital Eagles, the 18-year-old appeared in 21 games, scoring the game-winning goal in a 1-0 triumph over Monza last season.
