[Official] Crespi Has Renewed His Contract With Lazio And Has Joined Cosenza On Loan This Season

The announcement has been made official. Following weeks of unrelenting speculation, it has been confirmed that Valerio Crespi will be making a move to Cosenza by way of a loan agreement.

The negotiation was made possible due to the renewal of the contract with Lazio for two years, with the option of a third year. Once an agreement was reached, it paved the way for the class of 2004 to transfer to Calabria.

Having secured a promotion with Primavera, Valerio Crespi is now poised to embark on a new chapter in his career. His sights are set on his first professional adventure with Cosenza in Serie B.

To ensure that the player gains adequate playtime in a lower division, the Lazio club has opted to sell the player on loan instead of him playing excessively in Primavera 1.

The Calabrian Club has released an official statement:

"The Cosenza Calcio Club announced that it has bought the rights to footballer Valerio Crespi's sporting performance from S.S. Lazio. Born in Rome on August 4, 2004, the striker joined the rossoblù temporarily with a contract expiring on June 30, 2024."
