Sarri: "It Is Worth Noting That Despite This Crisis, We Managed To Secure Triumph In Three Matches This Week. Regarding Vecino, There Is No Need For Any Further Explanation. It Is An Internal Matter Within The Locker Room."

Following the 1-0 triumph that propelled Lazio into the quarter-finals of the Italian Cup, coach Maurizio Sarri shared his thoughts on the victory in an interview with 'Mediaset'.

"Having witnessed the match against Cagliari, I can attest to our commendable performance, with the only flaw being our failure to seal the victory. It is disheartening to acknowledge that we have been plagued by a perpetual crisis during my three-year tenure in Rome. However, it is worth noting that despite this crisis, we managed to secure triumph in three matches this week. Yet, we must acknowledge our accountability for not effectively concluding the game tonight."

"Guendouzi possesses an exceptional level of vitality and charisma. He embraces challenges and demonstrates remarkable productivity and excellence when he is both physically and mentally prepared. I was already struck by his abilities during his time in the Premier League."

"Regarding Vecino, there is no need for any further explanation. It is an internal matter within the locker room, although not one of the most extraordinary ones. The decision to exclude him has been made by the club, and we will revisit this topic soon. At the moment, this is the current situation."

"Felipe Anderson? I believe he has never been consistent. He had a long good period last year, and now we are in the down period. We must wait. Could it be linked to the contract extension? He is a really sensitive young man, but I don't believe he is sensitive to these more material aspects. He is sensitive in relationships, in criticism, I'm not sure, but knowing him, I would say no."
