Lazio Will Face Competition From Milan And Juventus For Lewis Ferguson Next Summer

Throughout this season, Lewis Ferguson has consistently demonstrated his brilliance while playing for Bologna, and it appears that he is poised to become the focal point of attention this summer, as Lazio, Juventus, and Milan have all expressed their interest in acquiring his services.

In the summer of 2022, the Rossoblu acquired the talented Scottish midfielder from Aberdeen for a transfer fee of approximately 2 million Euros. This fee is considered to be quite affordable, especially when considering his remarkable progress in Serie A over the past 18 months.

Playing a crucial part in Thiago Motta's team, Ferguson has made a significant impact this season with four goals and three assists in 20 league matches. Last summer, he secured a new contract, extending his commitment to the club until June 2027, with the possibility of a one-year extension.

According to Calciomercato.com, AC Milan has been closely observing Ferguson for several weeks and will soon determine whether they will pursue the midfielder in anticipation of the upcoming summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, Juventus have started discussions with his agent about a potential transfer and has received a positive answer, while the Biancoceleste have been keeping an eye on the 24-year-old player since last summer. Meanwhile, Ferguson enjoys playing in Serie A and intends to continue in Italy, but his long-term goal is to play in the Premier League.
