Mattia Zaccagni has extended his contract with Lazio, putting an end to speculations about his future. His previous deal, set to expire in 2025, has now been prolonged until 2029.

Lazio made the announcement recently, stating, "SS Lazio confirms the extension of Mattia Zaccagni's contract until 30 June 2029."

Following the official confirmation, Zaccagni expressed his joy at renewing his contract with Lazio. He shared his happiness on Instagram, posting a picture of himself in action wearing the Lazio jersey, along with a caption that expressed his commitment to the club:

"I've been wearing this jersey since August 31, 2021, and I'll continue to wear it for many years. I'm proud to represent the eagle emblem, aiming to soar higher and higher. Together."

This season, Zaccagni has made 31 appearances for Lazio, participating in Serie A (23 games), the Champions League (6 games), and the Italian Cup (2 games). He has scored 5 goals and provided 1 assist, with 4 goals in the league against Torino, Hellas Verona, Empoli, and Frosinone, and the fifth goal in the Italian Cup, crucial for Lazio's victory in the Quarter Finals (1-0) against Roma in January.
