Stendardo: "I Immediately Saw A Great Lazio Yesterday. They Made Good Use Of The Crowd's Energy And, Most Importantly, Reacted Well To The Setback."
Speaking on Radiosei during the program Non Mollare Mai, Guglielmo Stendardo shared his analysis of Lazio’s victory over Sergio Conceicao’s Milan. The former Biancoceleste defender praised Baroni’s squad for their impressive performance, stating:
"I immediately saw a great Lazio yesterday. They dictated the tempo of the game and created several chances before finally finding the net. The first 20 minutes of the second half were perhaps the most challenging, but Milan lacked cohesion and structure. The late penalty was a well-deserved reward for an outstanding performance. Lazio naturally plays on the front foot, always pressing and attacking—it’s their ‘sweet burden,’ the very essence of Baroni’s team."
Stendardo also highlighted Lazio’s ability to leverage the stadium atmosphere and, most importantly, their strong reaction after conceding the equalizer:
"They made good use of the crowd's energy and, most importantly, reacted well to the setback. There is noticeable growth in their approach and game management. After Milan’s goal, they could have lost momentum, but they maintained focus and resilience. However, Lazio still has room for improvement, particularly in managing the tempo and avoiding sudden shifts in momentum. While their natural style is fast-paced and aggressive, developing the ability to control the rhythm and read key moments better will be crucial for their continued growth."
