After starting their Serie A Women’s Cup journey with a 2–1 victory over Napoli, Lazio Women returned to action in Group A with a high-profile clash against Juventus. Both sides entered the match level on three points, knowing that only the group winners and the best second-placed team would secure a spot in the Final Four.

Coach Gianluca Grassadonia was absent from the bench due to suspension following the opening match, leaving his side to battle without him on the touchline.

Juventus threatened as early as the third minute through Girelli, but Lazio’s defense held firm. The Biancoceleste answered with chances from Simonetti and Oliviero, before Le Bihan came closest with a strike that rattled the woodwork in the 26th minute. On the other side, Bonansea and Vangsgaard drove Juventus forward, though without accuracy in front of goal.

The match grew in intensity after the break. In the 49th minute, Vangsgaard wasted a clear one-on-one with Durante, while just minutes later Piemonte forced Peyraud-Magnin into action. Lazio nearly found the breakthrough in the 81st minute when Oliviero went close, but the decisive moment was saved for stoppage time.

In the 93rd minute, substitute Visentin pounced inside the area, winning a duel with Rosucci before calmly slotting the ball past Peyraud-Magnin. The goal sealed a dramatic 1–0 win for Lazio and sparked wild celebrations among the players and supporters.

With two wins from two matches, Lazio Women now sit in a strong position in Group A, boosting their hopes of reaching the Final Four. Juventus, meanwhile, were left frustrated by their lack of finishing and missed opportunities.
