Comfortable At Lazio, Manuel Lazzari Rejects Inter Milan's Offer

Instead of joining Simone Inzaghi to Inter Milan, Manuel Lazzari prefers to stay at the Olimpico. The Nerazzurri are back in their pursuit of Denzel Dumfries.

Inter Milan's plan to reunite Simone Inzaghi with Manuel Lazzari seems difficult to materialize. Recently, the Italian player stated that he would stay at the Stadio Olimpico.

The report explains that Lazzari is very interested in working with Lazio's new coach, Maurizio Sarri. Even so, the 27-year-old player does not deny that Simone Inzaghi is a very important figure in his career.

Lazzari and Inzaghi have a fairly close relationship. The player who is usually played as a wing-back is considered a very important player and can add value to the scheme that will be run by the 45-year-old coach.

On the other hand, Lazzari will certainly find it difficult to find a position in Sarri's scheme. The reason is that the old coach is used to using a 4-parallel defender scheme in a 4-4-3 formation, a pattern that is certainly foreign to Lazzari.

And with this news, Inter will certainly be more serious in pursuing PSV Eindhoven's right-back, Denzel Dumfries. The 23-year-old is considered the perfect replacement for Achraf Hakimi who is likely to leave soon.

But Inter is not alone. The latest news says that Premier League club Everton is much more ready to send an offer for the Dutch national team player.
