Bordeaux Relegated, Lazio Get Basic Service At Low Prices

Bordeaux who is relegated to Ligue 2 is rumored to be forcing them to sell Toma Basic to Lazio at a cheaper price.  Sporting director Igli Tare has prepared an offer to secure the midfielder's services this summer.

According to reports by Radiosei, the French Football Federation has sent Bordeaux to Ligue 2 due to financial problems, and the club is prepared to do everything it can to appeal the decision to retain its place in the French premier league.

If they are still relegated, then Toma Basic will be allowed to leave on a free transfer because there is a clause in his contract that will release him if the club is relegated.

The process will likely take a while and the Biancoceleste are looking to buy the 24-year-old Croatian midfielder, previously Bordeaux asked for a price of 10 million euros, slightly higher than the offer made by sporting director Igli Tare of 6 million euros.  plus a bonus of 1.5 Million Euros, however, the asking price could be lower due to this situation.

Meanwhile, Tare met with Claudio Lotito to discuss the transfer strategy of the Italian capital club and the situation surrounding their target player, and Basic is one of the things that will be discussed.  The Croatian has agreed on personal terms with the capital club to facilitate his transfer.

Meanwhile, The Aquile will soon hold further talks with the French club, and they hope to finalize the player's transfer before the start of pre-season training which will take place from 10 July.
