[FRIENDLY] Lazio - Triestina = 5 - 2

Lazio beat Triestina 5-2 in a friendly match played on Friday (23/07) evening local time, Luis Alberto showed an impressive performance with one goal and two assists.

Maurizio Sarri's team Lazio beat Serie C club Triestina in their third friendly match in pre-season this time.  The Biancoceleste won 5-2 with Luis Alberto as the star.

Spain international Luis Alberto seems to have forgotten all the distractions he experienced this summer despite previously refusing to attend pre-season training.  He contributed two assists for goals Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Stefan Radu.

But it was all of Lazio's players that received applause and appreciation. However, the biancoceleste version of the second half, when Sarri fielded the reserves, was less brilliant than the first half.  The game was equally purposeful and intense.

It's still early days but Lazio has adapted well to Sarri's 4-3-3 formation which is a big change from Simone Inzaghi's 3-5-2 formation over the last five years.

The next friendly match for the biancoceleste is next Tuesday, again in Auronzo, against Padova.

LAZIO (4-3-3): Strakosha 6;  Marusic 6 (46' Lazzari 6.5), Luiz Felipe 6 (54' Vavro 6), Radu (46' Patric 6), Hysaj 5.5 (59' Kamenovic 6);  Milinkovic 7 (59′ Akpa Akpro 6), Leiva 6.5 (59′ Escalante 6), Luis Alberto 7.5 (46′ Cataldi 6);  Felipe Anderson 5.5 (59′ Romero 6), Muriqi 6.5 (46′ Caicedo 5.5), Moro 6.5 (54′ Jony 6.5).
