Lazio Primavera Coach Gives Positive Comments About Luka Romero

Lazio Primavera coach, Alessandro Calori, has positive comments on new signing Luka Romero, who has signed from RCD Mallorca and has joined the pre-season training session with his other team-mates at Auronzo di Cadore.

Alessandro Calori has commented on 16-year-old Argentine striker Luka Romero and admits he is impressed with the former RCD Mallorca youth player.

"Luka Romero is very impressive, I get a bit of an impression that he's not like a typical 16-year-old, he's in a different category."

The Biancoceleste signed the young Argentinian from La Liga side RCD Mallorca on a free transfer earlier this month paying only his premium training fee with the Spanish club.

Romero is considered an attractive prospect nicknamed 'Baby Messi' because of his strong dribbling and interesting attacking moves.  He became the youngest debutant in La Liga last season by appearing for Mallorca's first team at the age of 15 years and 219 days.

He was taken to The Aquile's training camp, Auronzo di Cadore and selected to feature in the third friendly against Serie C side Triestina which ended in a 5-2 win.  He will then be a member of Calori's Primavera team next season but also has a chance to break into the first-team squad if he continues to show impressive developments.
