Lotito Confirms The Entire Lazio Squad Has Been Given The Covid-19 Vaccine

Lazio president Claudio Lotito confirmed that all members of the Biancoceleste squad had been vaccinated against Covid-19 on Saturday (24/07) local time at Auronzo's training camp in Cadore.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito attended directly to the vaccine implementation carried out by Maurizio Sarri's squad, and he stressed the importance of getting the Covid-19 vaccine injection.

"We have given a signal of respect by protecting the health of our players and all those in contact with the team," he said as reported by Lazio Style Channel.

"The initiative we took before Prime Minister Draghi's suggestion when I contacted the president of the Veneto region to request assistance Belluno ULSS vaccinations.

"Ziaia's response was efficient and very fast and now the fans will see this initiative with satisfaction."

Furthermore, Lotito denied reports from newspapers that mentioned three or four players who refused to get the vaccine.

"It's all a lie, it's not true there are some players who don't want to be vaccinated," he explained.

"In addition to the five players who have been vaccinated, today all team members, staff and employees have been vaccinated."

Star players such as Luis Alberto, Thomas Strakosha, and Stefan Radu appear to have received the Covid-19 vaccine injection.  As proof that all the players have been injected with the vaccine and no one has refused to receive the vaccine as recommended by the Italian government before the Serie A season starts on August 21 next.  The Aquile will travel to Empoli in their first game of the 2021/22 season.
