Milinkovic-Savic Wants To Stay Longer At Lazio

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has confirmed that he wants to stay at Lazio for a long time and calls himself a leader in Maurizio Sarri's side. His statement can be called an answer about his future at the Olimpico.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has always been linked with a move to a bigger club but the Serbia international midfielder seems to be still at home at the Olimpico and will not be leaving anytime soon.

"I feel like a leader now, this is my sixth year and I hope to stay for many more years," the midfielder said via Lazio Style Channel.

"I see a lot of young players here and think when I'm in their place, so I try to help them in the same way senior players help me."

Maurizio Sarri took a very different approach at the Biancoceleste, both in terms of tactics and training after replacing Simone Inzaghi.

"Training sessions have become more intense, but I feel fine," he continued.

"I miss all of this, we'll be training with the ball soon and things will change because the system will change from 3-5-2 to 4-3-3.

"We'll be playing ball with our feet a lot more and I can't wait to get started again."

While the Serbian midfielder declared his commitment to The Aquile, the same cannot happen with Luis Alberto as the midfielder still hasn't shown up for training after receiving a call from the club.
