Lazio President Believes He Can Register New Players Soon

Lazio president, Claudio Lotito is confident that he can officially register his new players before the start of the new Serie A season which will take place on August 21.  For now, the capital's club is still hindered by the liquidity ratio.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, Lazio will have to put four new signings into the contract for Lega Serie A before 21 August if they are to play all four in their opening game of the season against Empoli.

Due to the liquidity ratio currently experienced by the Italian capital club, the Biancoceleste have not been able to officially register their four new players namely Elseid Hysaj, Felipe Anderson, Dimitrije Kamenovic, and Luka Romero.

President Claudio Lotito is working hard to resolve the issue and is likely to add an injection of funds to address the issue and he confirmed his belief during talks with coach Maurizio Sarri on Sunday (08/08) yesterday local time.

Meanwhile, The Aquile are currently looking for a new club for players who are no longer needed by the club and the sale of Joaquin Correa who wants to leave the Olimpico can also solve the problem.

Maurizio Sarri's team have returned to Italy after a pre-season training session in Marienfeld, Germany, and also played two friendlies against SV Meppen and FC Twente last week.  Now they will train again to prepare for the inaugural match of the 2021/22 season against promoted team Empoli.
