Sarri Complains About The Condition Of Stadio Olimpico For Lazio vs Spezia

Maurizio Sarri commends the condition of the pitch at the Stadio Olimpico as Lazio prepares for their second Serie A match against Spezia which will take place on Saturday (28/08) evening local time.  The coach also gave an update on the condition of Luiz Felipe's injury.

Lazio secured a 3-1 win over Empoli in their Opening Serie A match on 21 August and are now preparing for their first home game at the Olimpico against Spezia this weekend.

"We have to try to improve in all aspects, in the second half against Empoli, the team's center of gravity was very low," Sarri told a press conference as reported by Football-Italia.

"Little by little we will be able to climb, it will be a path without linear growth."

The coach then discussed Luiz Felipe's injury ahead of the game against Spezia.

"We make sure he is not seriously injured, he was checked this morning (yesterday), tomorrow morning (today) we will re-evaluate him to determine if he can play against Spezia," he said.

Furthermore, the coach predicts that the match will be tough against The Aquilotti who drew 2-2 with Cagliari in the first week.

"This is a game that worries the opposing team, Spezia is a dynamic team, aggressive and it will be difficult to play against them," explained the 62-year-old coach.

"It will be played at 18.30 (Rome time), we hope the weather conditions are in our favor, I have also seen us play on a pitch that conditions are not suitable for a city like Rome, I rarely see a field in such conditions."
