Serie A Legend Suggests Coutinho Join Lazio

Series A legend, Alessio Tacchinardi, believes that Philippe Coutinho will find his best form again if he joins Maurizio Sarri's team at Lazio.

Since moving from Liverpool in 2018, Philippe Coutinho's performance seems to have faded with Barcelona.

The situation was then worsened by the serious financial crisis experienced by Barcelona, where Coutinho is currently mentioned as one of the players that the Blaugrana wants to release this summer.

What happened to Coutinho made Alessio Tacchinardi feel concerned.  The former Juventus midfielder then suggested Coutinho return to Serie A, playing as Maurizio Sarri's team at Lazio.

"He (Coutinho) is no longer the same player in recent years," Tacchinardi said in an interview with TMW Radio.

"I advise him to return to Serie A. Coutinho can create an extraordinary combination with Luis Alberto on the left-wing of the team," he concluded.

After in recent years playing with the standard of 3-5-2 under Simone Inzaghi, Lazio this season will play Sarri's favorite 4-3-3 formation.

So far, the Biancoceleste has only brought in one winger, namely Felipe Anderson, who was brought in from West Ham United.

If Sarri is interested in bringing Coutinho to the Stadio Olimpico, Barcelona is reportedly open to any options including a season-long loan.
