Milinkovic-Savic: "I Am Happy To Have Been With Lazio For Many Years And To Wear The Armband As Vice-captain"

Alongside Maurizio Sarri, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic also spoke at the press conference. He commented on his derby's goal, Maurizio Sarri, Thomas Strakosha, and his future at Lazio.

"In the derby, we entered the field differently than in previous matches, now in the next matches we need to have the same mentality."

"I was not aware of having scored the goal in the derby, after the blow I remained on the ground and my teammates helped me to recover.  Too bad we could not cheer for that goal."

"The coach has won the Europa League, he will try to repeat himself and we are ready to follow him.  We will try to go as far as possible."

"With Strakosha we are close friends, if he has space tomorrow he will surely play in the best way."

"I only met Nikolic for six months, I debuted with him in a race that we were losing by three to zero, so I don't have great memories.

"The derby we won gives us the extra boost for the next match, now let's face the challenges to come.  Too bad for the journey in the Europa League in 2018 ended with the defeat against Salzburg, this year that bad evening will be one more reason to go all the way.  We will do everything to reach the top. "

"I am happy to have been with Lazio for many years and to wear the armband as vice-captain.  I'm fine here, I just think about playing well helping the team, then every year at the end of the season we think about what to do."
