Pedro Has A Good Record Against AC Milan And Ibrahimovic

September 12, 2021

Lazio winger, Pedro Rodriguez has a pretty good record against AC Milan, the Spaniard has only lost twice in his career and wants to extend that record when his team travel to the San Siro on Sunday (12/09) evening local time.

34-year-old Spanish winger Pedro scored his first Champions League goal against AC Milan on 13 September 2011 while he was still playing for Barcelona as reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero.

He has played nine times against the Rossoneri in his career and has lost only two games including one at the San Siro.  The player also reportedly has a close relationship with the Rossoneri striker and former team-mate, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.  And in this case, the Spanish winger still has a positive record, having never lost against the Swedish striker and even took his place at Barcelona a few years ago.

The former Roma player is an important part of Maurizio Sarri's Lazio squad and will be one of the starter players in Sunday night's match local time.  His experience will also be invaluable for two young players who speak Spanish, Raul Moro, and Luka Romero.

The Italian capital club is armed with two wins in the first two matches of 2021/22 Serie A season and so is Stefano Pioli's team who also collected six points from the previous two matches.
