[OFFICIAL] Acerbi And Immobile Extend Their Lazio's Contract

Two-star players, Francesco Acerbi and Ciro Immobile are reported to have renewed their contracts with Lazio which of course extends their stay in the Italian capital even longer.

As reported by Italian media, LazioNews24 reports that Lazio's financial reports from 30 June this year have revealed that their two-star players, Francesco Acerbi and Ciro Immobile have renewed their contracts with the club meaning they are extending their stay in the Italian capital.

Acerbi has signed a four-year extension of his contract and will tie him up with the club until 2025 with a net salary of 2.5 million euros per season.  While Immobile signed a new five-year contract that will last until 2026 before he was rumored to be signing a contract with the Biancoceleste until 2025 only.

The 33-year-old defender has become one of the important players in Maurizio Sarri's squad after always appearing in every match played by The Aquile so far in all competitions.  However, he was forced to be sidelined in the next two matches due to suspension due to the red card he received in his team's 3-0 loss to Bologna.

While Immobile started the 2021/22 season well under Sarri having scored six goals in his opening seven games but he was forced to miss the last game against Bologna due to a muscle injury.  But he is expected to be fully fit for the next game against Inter Milan on 17 October after the international break.
