Radu Will Make His Debut This Season In The Match Against Hellas Verona

Lazio veteran defender, Stefan Radu is reportedly ready to make his debut this season when Maurizio Sarri's side travels to Hellas Verona at the weekend.  The two main center-backs, Acerbi and Luiz Felipe, are sidelined due to suspension.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport, coach Maurizio Sarri will be forced to play Romanian defender Stefan Radu in their next league match against Hellas Verona as Luiz Felipe and Francesco Acerbi are both suspended.

However, the two suspended defenders will start their next match against Olympique de Marseille on Thursday in the Europa League.  However, they were forced to only be spectators when Lazio fought Hellas Verona and Radu who seemed to be partnering with Patric for the Serie A match.

The Romanian defender has never appeared under coach Maurizio Sarri and this could change in Thursday's match in the Europa League.  By fielding him as a substitute it made sense to give him playing time ahead of the game against the Gialloblu.

The 34-year-old, who has been with the Biancoceleste since 2008, is the record holder for the most appearances in the history of the capital team having played 412 games for the Roma club in all competitions.  Heading into next weekend's clash The Aquile armed with an important win over reigning champions Inter Milan last Saturday.
