Hysaj: "I Feel Very Good, I Am Satisfied, Lazio Is A Great Team. There Was Interest From Them Before, But We Didn't Find An Agreement, Now That I've Joined I Hope To Achieve Our Target."


Lazio full-back, Elseid Hysaj has expressed his comfort at the club in the Italian capital and his joy playing with Maurizio Sarri again, who he described as a special person. The two had worked together at Napoli before the 62-year-old coach moved to Chelsea and Juventus.


In an interview with Albanian media, BalkanWeb a few days ago, 27-year-old defender Elseid Hysaj first discussed his relationship with coach Maurizio Sarri who had coached him at Napoli, and now the two are working together again at Lazio.


"Sarri hasn't changed, I never spoke much with the coach.


"At the start of the season the team had problems understanding his tactics and we didn't have a good synergy, but he always thought I was important.


"He is a special person, because when he gives you the confidence you want to make him happy.


"He took me to Lazio and wanted me at Chelsea, I wanted to give him the triple he deserved."


Then the defender expressed his feelings after several months of joining the Biancoceleste.


"I feel very good, I am satisfied, They are a great team and they are investing to get the most out of it," he said.


"There was interest from them before, but we didn't find an agreement, now that I've joined I hope to achieve our target."


The 27-year-old is contracted until 2025 and has so far made 11 Serie A appearances this season, playing 900 minutes in total, in which time he has scored one goal.
