Lazio Confirmed To Miss Luiz Felipe Against Udinese

Lazio defender, Luiz Felipe will serve a suspension in the next match in Serie A against Udinese which will take place on Thursday (02/12) evening local time at the Stadio Olimpico.


As announced by Lega Serie A, 24-year-old Brazilian defender Luiz Felipe has been shown a yellow card five times this season in Lazio's 4-0 defeat against Napoli on Sunday night and therefore he is out of action for the scheduled match against Udinese that takes place on Thursday evening local time at the Stadio Olimpico.


Apart from Felipe, Daniel Cataldi was shown his fourth yellow card of the season against Napoli so he has been officially warned.  While Patric has also received his second yellow card of the season in that match, while Mattia Zaccagni was given his first yellow card.


The 24-year-old Brazilian defender whose contract with the Biancoceleste runs until 2022 has made 16 appearances in all competitions so far in the 2021/22 season, playing 1410 minutes in total.  He has adapted well to the system implemented by Maurizio Sarri and has proven to be a reliable partner for Francesco Acerbi.


The Italian capital club is in the process of extending the contract of Luiz Felipe who is one of the key players in Maurizio Sarri's squad.  The Aquile hopes to bounce back after a crushing defeat to Napoli last weekend against Udinese on Thursday.
