Lazio Must Fight Against Difficult Conditions When Visiting Lokomotiv Moscow

Lazio reportedly had to struggle against difficult conditions in the away group stage match against representatives of Russia, Lokomotiv Moscow which will take place on Thursday (25/11) evening local time.  What are the obstacles that Maurizio Sarri's team must face?

As reported by Radiosei, Lazio is scheduled to fly to Moscow on Wednesday (24/11) at a local time after undergoing a morning training session.  There is a two-hour time difference with Rome and the flight will last four hours.

The Biancoceleste squad will depart from Fiumicino airport at noon and they are expected to land in the Russian capital at 10.00 am local time, where they will head straight to the hotel.

In addition, weather conditions are also a concern in itself, because heavy snowfall is predicted to fall and the air temperature will be very cold below freezing.  Maurizio Sarri's side will then leave Moscow on Friday morning and will take a four-hour flight before heading to Formello for a small training session.

The capital side has had little time to recuperate after their Europa League group stage clash against Lokomotiv Moscow given that they will have an away game against Napoli next Saturday.

The Aquile suffered a defeat to Juventus in Serie A before traveling to Russia but earlier in the first leg they recorded a 2-0 win over Lokomotiv at the Olimpico in a match that took place in early October.
