Lazio's Attacking Trio Has Been The Most Productive In Serie A This Season


Lazio's attacking trio of Ciro Immobile, Pedro, and Felipe Anderson has been the most prolific in Serie A. The trio formed a wonderful partnership under Maurizio Sarri at the start of the 2021/22 season.  They are also on the list of the most prolific trio in Europe.


As reported by Lazio Page on Twitter, Ciro Immobile, Pedro and Felipe Anderson have scored 17 goals in the first 12 Serie A games of the season for the Biancoceleste, all three working together very well under coach Maurizio Sarri.


The second most prolific position is occupied by trio Hellas Verona with 16 goals (eight from Giovanni Simeone, four from Antonio Barak, and three from Gianluca Caprari) followed by third-place Inter attacking trio also with 16 goals (seven from Edin Dzeko, five from Lautaro Martinez and four from Joaquin Correa).


Immobile has contributed 10 of the 17 goals the attacking trio has scored, Pedro with four and Felipe Anderson scoring three.  They also listed his name in the ranks of the five major European leagues by occupying fourth place.


The most prolific attacking trio in Europe's five major leagues is Robert Lewandowski (13), Serge Gnarby (6), and Thomas Muller (4) of Bayern Munich who has scored 23 goals in total.


Behind them is the Liverpool trio who have scored 20 goals so far which come from Mohamed Salah (10), Sadio Mane (6) and Diogo Jota (4), and then the Real Madrid trio who have also scored 20 goals through Karim Benzema (10), Vinicius Junior (7) and Marco Asensio (3).
