Lazzari Is One Of The Conte's Targets To Strengthen Tottenham

Antonio Conte has now officially served as the new manager of Tottenham Hotspurs after several months ago refusing to take up the position because he still did not believe in the project the management had brought to him.

The former Inter Milan and Chelsea manager is officially on an 18-month contract for a fee of 15 million pounds per season.

Conte immediately had some requests addressed to the Spurs management after officially becoming the new manager.  One of them is to bring in new players to increase the strength of his team.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport Antonio Conte is believed to have determined which players he wants to bring in and are in his squad.

One of the target's names that Conte look at was Lazio's wing-back, Manuel Lazzari.

Manuel Lazzari is known to have been on the Spurs target list ahead of the January 2022 transfer window opening.

Although Spurs have just brought in Emerson Royal from Barcelona, Lazzari is considered suitable for Conte's scheme because of his equally good defensive and attacking abilities.
