Sarri: "Luis Is A Smart Player, If I Have Something I Have To Say To Him Then I Say It Straight Away, This Way It's Easier To Work With."

Maurizio Sarri said he was happy with Lazio's progress after beating his visitors Salernitana 3-0 in the Serie A match which took place on Sunday (07/11) evening local time at the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio managed to secure the perfect three points by beating Salernitana 3-0 thanks to goals from Ciro Immobile, Pedro, and Luis Alberto. Coach Maurizio Sarri is quite satisfied with the results achieved by his team.

"Finally after winning we were able to continue playing, we have a clear attitude that is more proactive than before," the coach said via DAZN.

Ciro Immobile scored his 161st goal for the Biancoceleste and he has become the club's all-time leading scorer after his goal against Marseille last week.

"Ciro is an unusual finisher," said Sarri.

"Usually this kind of player is selfish, but he always helps his team, he has a great personality, one of the souls of the team, on and off the pitch, an amazing guy."

The Biancoceleste have won six of 12 matches, they beat Roma and Inter but the results against the smaller sides have been disappointing so far.

"Lazio are always up and down, especially after good results against top teams, maybe it has to do with tactics," explained the coach.

"Training sessions are often tricky, sometimes the players train amazingly, but throughout the game, we can't do anything, but I have a good feeling with these players."

Luis Alberto also scored one goal in this match and seems to have resolved his issues with the coach.

"Luis is a smart player, if I have something I have to say to him then I say it straight away, this way it's easier to work with," he explained.
