Inzaghi Wants Fares As Perisic's Back Up

Lazio is reportedly able to sell wing-back, Mohamed Fares, to Simone Inzaghi's team, Inter Milan in the January transfer window. Currently, the player from Algeria is on loan at another Serie A club, Genoa.

According to reports by Italian newspaper Gazetta dello Sport, 25-year-old Algerian full-back Mohamed Fares joined Genoa on loan with an option to buy which was made on the last day of the summer transfer window, but it is reported that he is unable to convince the Rossoblu. with the quality, he has this season.

As a result, Fares is likely to be returned to Lazio next month but that will pass, as Torino and Sassuolo are interested in securing the services of the Algerian full-back, he also has another option which is to work with Simone Inzaghi at Inter Milan again.

The former SPAL player has always been a favorite of the 45-year-old Italian coach and the Nerazzuri are looking for a player to rotate with Ivan Perisic, meaning Fares will earn a place in Inter's squad.

However, the agreement will not be realized easily especially because inter must be able to submit a satisfactory offer to the Biancoceleste to get the services of the full-back.

During one season joining The Aquile last year from SPAL, Fares has made 29 appearances. While with Genoa he has only made eight appearances and contributed two goals.
