December 03, 2021

Lazio had to settle for a draw in the drama of the rain of goals against Udinese in the 15th week of the Italian Serie A League. Lazio vs Udinese match which took place at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome ended with the score of 4-4.

Apart from the rain of goals, this match was also marked by three red cards shown by referee Marco Piccinini, one for Lazio players and two for Udinese.

Udinese took the lead through Beto's header before the Portuguese striker doubled the visitors' lead with a right-footed strike in the 32nd minute.

Two minutes later, Ciro Immobile grabbed Lazio's return goal, but Udinese restored their two-goal margin of lead when Nahuel Molina finished off Gerard Deulofeu's pass just before half-time.

Lazio tried to bounce back after the break and six minutes into the second half, Pedro made it 2-3 by taking advantage of a corner from the hosts.

Then in the 56th minute, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic managed to make the position 3-3 with a long-range shot that nestled into the top left corner of the visitors' goal.

Ironically a minute later Lazio had to lose Patric Gabarron who received a second yellow card after dropping Isaac Success. Instead of taking advantage of the number of players, Udinese even had to play with ten men since the 69th minute because Molina got his second yellow card.

Lazio then took the lead through Francesco Acerbi's header from Toma Basic's 79th-minute free-kick, which was reviewed by VAR before making it 4-3.

The victory that was in sight was simply shattered in the ninth minute of injury time when Tolgay Arslan completed Fernando Forestieri's pass to close the match with a score of 4-4.

Just seconds before blowing the whistle to mark the end of the game, Piccinini issued his third red card for midfielder Udinese Walace.
