Sarri Wants Lazio To Sign Two Of His Targets This Summer

Lazio coach, Maurizio Sarri has reportedly informed the Italian capital club of his desire to sign two of his target players in the summer, namely Emerson Palmieri and Matias Vecino.

According to reports by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, it was revealed that the 63-year-old Italian coach Maurizio Sarri wants to strengthen his left-back sector as well as his midfield and has been eyeing two players he feels are suitable to be in his squad, namely, Emerson Palmieri and Matias Vecino.

Vecino's contract with Inter expires next summer, so Lazio can sign him for free, while Emerson's contract may be a bit tricky considering he is currently on loan at Lyon by Chelsea.  Sporting director Igli Tare will look to sign both players in the summer to satisfy Sarri's wishes after a disappointing January window.

Apart from these two players, another player that the Biancoceleste is also working on is Milan captain, Alessio Romagnoli whose contract with the Rossoneri will expire at the end of this season.

The 63-year-old coach was let down by the club in the January transfer window after the Aquile signed only one new player in winger Jovane Cabral from Sporting and also listed young defender Dimitrije Kamenovic in their newest squad.

Hardline Aquile supporters have also expressed their disappointment with their beloved club over the January transfer window and even staged a demonstration outside the team's training base in Formello.
