Cataldi: "I Was Expecting A Tough Udinese, We Traveled A Lot And We Came Directly Here From Porto, There Was Mental And Physical Fatigue."

Lazio takes home a point from Udinese on Sunday night, they go into Serie A away from home following their Europa League play-off last Thursday night in which they lost to hosts Porto 2-1.

In this match, the Biancoceleste were without Ciro Immobile, Luis Alberto, Lucas Leiva, Francesco Acerbi, and Manuel Lazzari.  There was even a risk of them losing the game after Gerard Deulofeu's opener in the fifth minute, but Felipe Anderson managed to save a point for his side with his first Serie A goal since last October.

Cataldi spoke in the post-match of Udinese-Lazio, which ended with the result of 1-1.  These are his words to the microphones of Lazio Style Radio:

"Today I am very bitter. After the first twenty minutes, we have grown a lot.  I'm sorry because with two more points we would have come close to something that seemed unexpected.  But what we have to take today is the mentality."

"Many today have brought out the best.  We played a good match.  We have been growing for months.  Sorry for the Coppa Italia match, where we made four mistakes.  But we have started a path of growth."

"I was expecting a tough Udinese, we probably had to take measures because I repeat we traveled a lot and we came directly here from Porto, there was mental and physical fatigue.  Lazio is there, it is there and it is alive."
