Foggia Will Be An Alternative For Lazio If Tare Moves Out

Igli Tare has his contract at Lazio expiring in 2023, the agreement provides for him to stay another year, but there are conflicting and divided rumors about the sporting director's future.

Rumors within Formello suggest that Tare will only leave Lazio if other clubs make big proposals, similar to the one from Milan in 2019.

Lotito and Tare's relationship also had its ups and downs. Over the past few months, their relationship has been strained by various factors. They argued and they seemed to be on the verge of separation, but then they went back to work together.

For Sarri, however, things are different. The bond between the two has never taken off, and there have been attempts to get closer in recent weeks, but it's too early to tell whether the two might coexist in the future.

At this point, everything was in the hands of the president, who had to decide with whom to move on. If he chooses Sarri, a new sporting director will have to be found, as if Tare chose to leave.

It's difficult, but not impossible. In the past few hours, the name of Pasquale Foggia, the current director of Benevento, began to circulate.

Foggia, a former Lazio player between 2006 and 2013 on loan at Reggina, Cagliari, and Sampdoria, clearly sees the move to the Biancoceleste as a major leap in his career. Foggia, one of the young and rising leaders of Italian football, is close to Lotito and could be a name worth considering if he says goodbye to Tare. There are only rumors, hypotheses, but the next two months will be very tense for Lazio's future.
