PSG Will Make A Huge Bid For Milinkovic-Savic This Summer

Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly preparing to make a huge bid to secure the services of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, the Ligue 1 giants trying to convince Lazio to be willing to let the midfielder go this summer.

27-year-old Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is one of the star players in Maurizio Sarri's squad at Lazio and has been the target of several of Europe's top clubs over the past few years, with Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus all reportedly monitoring his development.

The latest news reported by Il Messaggero revealed that PSG president Nasser Al Khelafi had personally met Milinkovic-Savic's representatives during a visit to Rome a few weeks ago.

It was further reported that during the meeting the president announced that PSG was willing to pay 80 million euros to get the services of the Serbian midfielder, only slightly adrift of what Lazio president Claudio Lotito asked for 100 million euros.

The Biancoceleste are likely willing to make the deal happen as with the proceeds from the sale they could bring in some of the new players needed to strengthen their squad depth which could provide a team more suited to his project at Rome.

Just as in previous seasons the Serbian midfielder has become one of the regulars of the Italian capital club with a series of impressive performances that he has shown, In this 2021/22 season he has made 36 appearances and contributed eight goals in all competitions.
