[Serie A] Spezia - Lazio = 3 - 4

Lazio continued an intense game at the Italian league's Spezia headquarters. Biancocelesti narrowly won 4-3.

The 35th Giornata Italian League 2021/2022 brings together Spezia against Lazio. The game was played at the Alberto Pico Stadium.

After 9 minutes of play, Spezia was already leading 1-0. Kelvin Amian's header from the penalty area was successfully scored in Lazio's goal.

In the 32nd minute, the referee points the spot to Lazio. Spezia defender Dimitrios Nikolau takes a handball in the penalty area.

Immobile, who stepped forward as Lazio's penalty taker, performed his duties perfectly. The result was equally strong at 1:1.

Spezia responded with their second goal two minutes later. Kevin Agudelo's free-kick is not blocked by Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha. After halftime, the home team led 2-1.

In the first 9 minutes of the second half, Lazio equalized 2-2. Ivan Provedel of Spezia scores his own goal.

Four minutes later, Spezia took the lead again. Petko Hristov's header slides into Lazio's goal from Daniele Verde's set-piece.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic scored in the 68th minute to make it 3:3. The Lazio midfielder's shot slipped into the bottom right corner of Spezia's goal.

Lazio won within minutes of extra time thanks to Francesco Acerbi's shot from inside the box that gave the visitors a 4-3 win over Spezia.

The win moved Lazio to fifth in the Serie A standings with 59 points. Spezia is now firmly in 16th place with 33 points.
