Lazio Is Interested In The Services Of Salvatore Esposito To Provide More Options In The Midfield

Lazio is also reportedly interested in the services of SPAL midfielder Salvatore Esposito along with two other Serie A clubs ahead of the market opening this summer. Maurizio Sarri's side needs some new players to expand their options to face next season.

Salvatore Esposito has caught the attention of Lazio, Napoli, and Sassuolo ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window. The 21-year-old Italian midfielder had a decent season in Serie B for SPAL, scoring three goals and providing three assists. He recently got his first Italian appearance from Roberto Mancini, playing 26 minutes in a 0-0 draw with England.

Esposito seems ready to join a top club and things are heating up now. According to Corriere dello Sport, it has been revealed that the Aquile are considering signing Esposito from SPAL, which is worth around 3 million euros. However, they will have to go head-to-head with Napoli and Sassuolo, who are also keen to sign the 21-year-old.

The Italian midfielder could be a cheap option after the signing of Marcos Antonio, who will provide Maurizio Sarri with more options in the team's midfield. Biancoceleste is looking to revive their squad this summer, and Esposito is seen as a suitable signing.

The capital club has recruited players from SPAL, namely Manuel Lazzari, now one of Maurizio Sarri's regulars, and Mohamed Fares, whose fate was different from that of his mates.
