Lotito: "What? Red Bull's Offer For Lazio? It's All Nonsense"

Claudio Lotito spoke again today after speaking a few days ago about his years as president. Reason? Some indiscretions about Red Bull's possible interest in a Lazio takeover.

Red Bull now stands out with its brand in all kinds of sports: in Formula 1, of course, but also in football. This multinational energy drink specialist based in Salzburg (Austria) owns several balloon companies.

RB Salzburg, of course, is from his hometown team. Then there's Bundesliga club RB Leipzig, the New York Red Bulls (formerly the New Jersey MetroStars), and, finally, the Brazilian Red Bull Bragantino. 

But the expansion doesn't seem to end there. The Red Bull Galaxy conquered football. Or rather, put it in their famous catchphrase: "It gives you wings". 

As such, it seems unlikely that it would cause an immediate uproar in the Biancoceleste world, according to which Lazio would end up being targeted by the famous Austrian company, journalist Elmar Bergonzini told reporters on the Calling Bomber page.

However, the rumors did not last long. Very short. In a brief interview published on the web portal Notizie.com, president Lotito wanted to underline that Red Bull's interest in Lazio was "nonsense".

"What? Red Bull's offer for Lazio? It's all nonsense," replied the Biancoceleste president.
